Digital Tech Jobs Boost For Melbourne’s North

The Andrews Labor Government is helping more innovative tech businesses establish themselves in Victoria, with Elenium Automation officially opening its global headquarters in Tullamarine.

Minister for Industry and Employment Ben Carroll today visited Elenium’s new offices and celebrated an investment that will create 25 new jobs for Melbourne’s north.

Elenium provides self-service and automation technologies for use in the aviation sector including kiosks for check-in, self-bag-drops, and automatic boarding.

The business has been supplying airports and airlines across the globe, including in New Zealand, Hong Kong, India, Mongolia, Papua New Guinea and Australia – while also working with national and international airline carriers.

Victoria is Australia's digital technology leader, with world-class skills and capabilities in cyber security, ICT education, artificial intelligence, web and mobile app development, cloud computing, systems data, software development and advanced digital tech research.

The state’s digital technology sector generates about $35 billion in revenue annually and is made up of 86,000 Victorians and 8,000 businesses.
