Statement From The Minister For Health

Dr Michael Langdon has advised me of his resignation as a Director and Chair of the Board of Bendigo Health, due to personal reasons.

I have accepted Mr Langdon's resignation and I thank him for his service to his local community.

I have asked Sue Clarke to act as Chair of the Board until a new Chair is appointed.

Ms Clarke has been a Director on the Board since 2010 and is also Director of Haven Home Safe, Loddon Mallee Murray Medicare Locals and Chair of the Community Foundation for Bendigo and Central Victoria.

Bendigo Health provides high quality care to the Loddon Mallee region, and the new Bendigo Hospital project will be a world-class hospital for the region.

I wish Dr Langdon well in his future endeavours.
