Year of the Goat Set for Massive Welcome at Crown

Tourism and Major Events Minister John Eren today congratulated Crown Melbourne on officially launching its Chinese Lunar New Year celebrations ushering in the Year of the Goat, to be held from 13-15 February 2015.

Crown’s weekend program of entertainment includes a Riverwalk Hawker’s Bazaar, giveaways, cultural dance performances, a karaoke challenge, as well as colourful dragon and lion processions. Crown’s Atrium will also be transformed with a month-long installation representing the Chinese zodiac sign.

Crown Melbourne is Victoria’s biggest tourism-focused business and largest single-site employer.
