We stand ready to help those affected by the fires that flared across Victoria over the weekend.
It was a privilege to meet some of our emergency service workers and volunteers today and thank them personally. They are working day and night, putting themselves in harm’s way to keep our communities safe.
While the weather is providing some respite the fire season is well and truly here. There’s been welcome showers today, but it won’t be long before the dry and hot conditions return.
Be vigilant, know your fire plan, and be ready to act.
