Bart won everything there was to win in racing, he fought back from adversity, and with his dry wit and his quiet way, he told racing's story.
Bart's feat of training 12 Melbourne Cup wins will never be forgotten and will, most likely, never be surpassed.
Bart is immortalised at Flemington, the track at which he had so much success. I have no doubt that racing fans will take the opportunity to make this Spring Racing Carnival a tribute to JB Cummings
