Parks Volunteers Recognised With Kookaburra Awards

The outstanding contributions of volunteers in Victorian parks and reserves have been recognised with 29 groups and individuals receiving Kookaburra Awards.

There were 67 nominees for this year’s awards, which are held every two years and presented by Parks Victoria.

Last year 29,000 volunteers contributed 220,947 hours of time to help manage Victoria’s parks – equal to more than 29,071 days.
