New VicRoads Unveiled In The CBD

21 March 2016

Workers, students and residents in Melbourne’s CBD will benefit from improved access to services when VicRoads’ new service centre, hub@exhibition, opens today.

Hundreds of thousands of Victorians who work and live in the city will now be able to access the New VicRoads digital service centre located at 113 Exhibition Street - the first of its kind in the CBD.

The new hub@exhibition is conveniently located for customers to access over 65 different services including licence renewal, change their address, learner and hazard perception tests and various registration and licence transactions.

This flagship customer service centre will assist customers through a range of traditional VicRoads transactions which are now also available online.

The hub@exhibition will help increase the 2.5 million VicRoads online customer transactions every year and raise awareness of the availability of these services.

A concierge will greet customers upon arrival and direct them to parts of the store based on the complexity of their transaction, such as the self serve or ‘fast lane’ service areas.

Team members will be available to guide customers through transactions at the digital kiosk, equipping them with the knowledge and experience to complete their request online in future should they wish, saving them time and effort in travelling to a customer service centre.

There will be no vehicle inspections or drive tests at this location.

The hub@exhibition is estimated to serve up to 800 Victorians daily and will operate from 8am-6pm Monday to Friday to better suit the needs of customers.
