The Andrews Labor Government is making sure local students in Bacchus Marsh have the school facilities they deserve for a great education.
Minister for Education James Merlino and Member for Melton Steve McGhie today visited Bacchus Marsh College to officially open its impressive new and upgraded school facilities.
The Labor Government invested $8 million to construct a new science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) centre and a Material Technology building, which includes a workshop and resources for students to experience hands-on learning in design and construction.
Designed by Y2Architecture and built by Searle Bros Building Contractors, the facilities will mean teachers can deliver the 21st century education Bacchus Marsh College students need to succeed.
The Labor Government has invested $5.6 billion to deliver new schools, more than 1,400 school upgrades, and support more than 5,000 construction jobs for Victorians.
Under the Labor Government’s school building boom, 100 new schools will open by 2026, ensuring every child can access a great local school and get a great start in life.
