Minister for Emergency Services, Jane Garrett, has announced the appointment of the new President of the Metropolitan Fire and Emergency Services Board, Dr Andi Diamond.
Ms Garrett says Dr Diamond is an outstanding leader who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role.
Dr Diamond is the current Chief Executive Officer of the Monash City Council where she is instrumental in leading and directing the council’s major projects.
Holding a MBA and DBA, Dr Diamond has a proven track record of leading diverse and complex organisations, and has held senior positions including the Chief Executive at the City of Yarra in 2008-12.
As the President of the Metropolitan Fire and Emergency Services Board, Dr Diamond will be responsible for overseeing the management of the organisation.
