New Chief Executive Appointed To CFA

Minister for Emergency Services Jane Garrett has welcomed the appointment of Ms Lucinda Nolan as Chief Executive Officer of the CFA.

Ms Nolan is an outstanding leader who has a unique understanding of emergency services and how they operate in regional Victoria.

Ms Nolan was selected through a competitive recruitment process and will be the first woman to lead the CFA as CEO.

Ms Nolan has held senior roles at Victoria Police over the past 30 years and has a proven track record of providing leadership in a large and complex organisation.

During her time at Victoria Police, she has worked as Assistant Commissioner, Superintendent and most recently the Deputy Commissioner Regional Operations.

Ms Nolan brings a wealth of knowledge to the role and will provide strong leadership to CFA members across the state.

In her new role Ms Nolan will be responsible for the strategic leadership and direction of the CFA and will work to ensure the organisation remains a world leader in fire services into the future.

Ms Nolan will officially start as CEO in November.
