But this home of ours has been doing it tough.

Drought doesn't just exist in our memory. It exists right now. Half the state is bone dry.

So I'll be hitting the road for the next few days, touring Ararat, Wonwondah, Donald, Wycheproof, Wedderburn and more.

Places that might not always receive Canberra's attention, but which nonetheless deserve the full attention of our state and our people.

I'll be meeting with farmers and businesses.

I'll be announcing new plans.

And I'll be listening to everyone.
