Donald High School Upgrade A Step Closer

08 September 2016

A revamped Donald High School is a step closer today, with Brandrick Architects appointed to design a $3.5 million school upgrade.

Parliamentary Secretary to the Premier Colin Brooks visited Donald High School to announce the appointment and inspect the upgrade site.

Donald High School received $3.5 million in the Victorian Budget 2016/17 for capital works, and a further $18,000 in planned maintenance.

The funds will be rolled into one project to modernise the school, which will include creating flexible learning spaces, improving connections between internal and external areas and upgrading site infrastructure.

The Andrews Labor Government provided more than $375 million in the Victorian Budget 2016/17 to plan, upgrade and rebuild 147 schools, with 60 in regional areas such as Donald.
