Ringwood North Primary School students will soon enjoy new learning spaces with more than $3 million being invested by the Andrews Labor Government’s 2019/20 State Budget.
Minister for Education James Merlino today toured the school alongside Member for Ringwood Dustin Halse and spoke with students and staff about the new permanent modular building, which will take approximately 38 weeks from beginning of works to completion.
The architecturally-designed learning spaces will help develop creative thinking and inspire learning in the Ringwood North Primary School students.
The modular building method will see the spaces constructed in a factory and brought to the school for permanent construction quickly, and with little disruption to the school.
The $3.013 million for Ringwood North Primary School is part of a record $1.82 billion investment into Victoria’s education infrastructure in this year’s State Budget – delivering on the Labor Government’s promise to make Victoria the Education State.
This record investment will also see a total of 100 new schools open over the next eight years under the Labor Government’s school building boom, ensuring every child has access to a great education, and every community has access to a great local school with exceptional teachers.
