Clayton South Kinder A Winner For Local Families

18 June 2015

Minister for Families and Children, Jenny Mikakos, today joined Kingston City Mayor Geoff Gledhill and Member for Clarinda, Hong Lim, to officially open the Clayton South Kindergarten.

The $1.69 million centre has been built on the same site as Clayton South Primary School, which will support seamless early years education for local children and provide an additional 26 kinder places.

The Andrews Labor Government is investing $50 million in the early childhood sector through the building and upgrading of kindergartens and children’s centres.

Infrastructure projects such as these ensure local children’s services have the space and flexibility they need to deliver 15 hours of kindergarten alongside a range of other vital early years programs.
