Backing Clunes Booktown

08 September 2016

Parliamentary Secretary to the Premier Colin Brooks today confirmed on-going financial support for Clunes Booktown as part of the Andrews Labor Government’s support for Victoria’s independent arts organisations.

Mr Brooks visited Creative Clunes headquarters today to announce the Labor Government will provide Clunes Booktown with $240,000 funding over the next four years.

Regional festivals and Indigenous arts companies are among those receiving increased support in the 2017-2020 round of Creative Victoria’s Organisations Investment Program – which received a boost this year as part of the Government’s Creative State strategy.

The funding is part of a $113 million, four year program to help with the operating costs of small, medium and large arts organisations.
