EACH Social and Community Health’s Yarra Junction facility will undergo a major revamp through a $500,000 capital injection from the Andrews Labor Government.
The funding will allow for an upgrade and remodel of existing services at 2468 Warburton Highway. This will create two additional counselling rooms, increased consumer service space including a dedicated reception and waiting area, a large meeting/training room, open-plan staff workstations, and three offices for co-location of complementary services.
The works will ensure the facilities meet contemporary standards for physical amenity, space and safety for patients and staff. They will also allow the service to expand into the future with a strong focus on service provision partnerships and co-location of other complementary support services in the Yarra Junction area.
As one of Victoria’s largest community health services, EACH provides a range of health, disability, counselling, employment, homelessness, mental health and alcohol and drug services across Australia.
EACH has more than 50 sites across Australia and provides more than 150 different programs across metropolitan Melbourne as well as some services on a state-wide basis.
