Premier’s Sustainability Awards Finalists Announced

25 September 2015

The Minister for Environment, Climate Change and Water, Lisa Neville today announced the 26 finalists in this year’s Premier's Sustainability Awards.

Now in their 13th year, the Awards continue to promote leadership and innovation in sustainability, and encourage others to adopt more sustainable practices in their everyday lives.

This year, the Awards attracted a record number of entries from all over Victoria across the categories.

Two new categories have been introduced to reach even more Victorians; the Health Award and Environmental Justice Award.

The Premier of Victoria will select two overall winners for the Premier’s Recognition Award and the Premier’s Regional Recognition Award who have implemented sustainable benefits for regional Victoria.

Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Thursday 29 October at the Plaza Ballroom, Melbourne. Tickets are now available for purchase at www.sustainabilityawards.vic.gov.auExternal Link
