Manufacturing Boost For Wendouree

A Wendouree manufacturer will invest in new equipment, upskill 10 of its workers and boost its exports by more than $1.5 million thanks to a funding boost from the Andrews Labor Government.

Announcing an $80,000 grant while touring C.E. Bartlett’s facilities today, Minister for Industry and Employment Wade Noonan said the company will use funding boost to purchase and install a new state-of-the-art FIAB High Frequency Welder.

The equipment will further automate the manufacturing process allowing C.E. Bartlett to increase production capacity and improve their product range, making them more competitive locally and abroad.

Victoria has a long and proud history of manufacturing and the Labor Government is ensuring this tradition continues so we can create high skill jobs of the future.

The funding is part of the Labor Government’s Future Industries Manufacturing Program, one of three industry programs under the Future Industries Fund to support high growth industries and create jobs.

Companies can apply for grants of up to $500,000 under the Manufacturing Program to invest in new manufacturing technologies and processes that will create jobs and increase productivity.
