The Allan Labor Government is ensuring every Victorian student has access to world-class learning in great classrooms.

Deputy Premier and Minister for Education Ben Carroll today announced 24 schools would share in more than $13 million from the Planned Maintenance Program (PMP) to prioritise and complete maintenance works on classrooms and facilities.

The schools will use the funding to carry out essential works such as fixing roofs and replacing windows, maintaining ramps, painting, resurfacing floors or improving pathways.

Vermont Primary School has been allocated more than $1.5 million for ceiling repair, repainting, roof works, stormwater works and window repair.

Wodonga Senior Secondary College has been given more than $1.6 million for asphalt works, ceiling replacement, drainage works, repainting, roof works, stairs replacement and other structural works.

Works are determined by an ongoing evaluation process, which provides up-to-date information on the condition of schools.

With this latest round of funding, the Labor Government has funded $89.3 million for 269 projects at 255 schools in 2025 through the PMP.

The Government has now invested $18.5 billion to build new schools and deliver more than 2,300 school upgrades − supporting more than 30,000 jobs in construction and associated industries.
