Live Sites Are Here To Stay

Football fans will be able to share in the excitement of the Socceroos 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign across Melbourne and regional Victoria.

World Cup live sites will be held at Federation Square, AAMI Park, Ballarat, Bendigo, Gippsland, Geelong and Shepparton.

Regional live sites will screen Australia's opening match against Türkiye on Sunday, 14 June at:

  • Hargreaves Mall, Bendigo
  • Alfred Deakin Place at the Art Gallery of Ballarat
  • Johnstone Park Forecourt, Geelong
  • Gippsland Performing Arts Centre, Traralgon
  • Shepparton Showgrounds, Shepparton

AAMI Park and Federation Square will host live sites for all three of the Socceroos following group-stage matches:

  • Australia vs Türkiye – Sunday 14 June, 2pm
  • Australia vs USA – Saturday 20 June, 5am
  • Australia vs Paraguay – Friday 26 June, 12pm

Security measures will be in place at Federation Square including fencing, entry gates, bag searches and hand wands to ensure everyone is safe.

With big screens, passionate crowds and a strong sense of community, the live sites are free for Victorians to enjoy the atmosphere of a major match beyond the stadium gates.

More information on regional live sites for the remaining matches will be available from regional councils.
