Better roads get you home safer and sooner.

In Melbourne, the Budget invests $29.2 million to upgrade crossings, intersections and road surfaces, including:
- Ryans Road/Wallowa Road/Allendale Road – Eltham North
- Dohertys Road/Woods Road – Truganina
- East Boundary Road – Bentleigh East
- Al Iman College school crossing – Melton South
- Blackburn Road/Station Street – Blackburn

- Pound Road – Hampton Park
- Cheddar Road/High Street – Reservoir

The Budget invests in planning and development work to improve Toomuc Valley Road/Princes Highway in Pakenham and Frankston-Dandenong Road in Carrum Downs.

Liberals have no plan to fix Victoria’s roads. Their $11.5 billion black hole just means more cuts. Only Labor has new solutions to make life easier, safer and more affordable.
Quotes attributable to Premier Jacinta Allan
“From Melbourne to Gippsland to Bendigo, we are upgrading roads to cut congestion and get you home safer.”
"Labor is investing in great local roads – do the Liberals and Nationals support it, or will they cut it?”
