Drivers across Melbourne’s western suburbs can now access VicRoads services at a brand new digital service centre – the first of its kind outside the Melbourne CBD.

Minister for Roads Luke Donnellan today officially opened the new hub@sunshine service centre on Clarke Street in Sunshine.

The new centre is conveniently located for customers to access over 65 different services including licence renewal, change of address, learner and hazard perception tests and various registration and licence transactions.

Customers will be able to conduct face-to-face VicRoads transactions and access digital services on-site.

The purpose-built centre also accommodates 170 VicRoads engineers and planners who are transforming the transport network in the western suburbs.

The hub@sunshine will help increase the more than six million VicRoads online customer transactions every year and raise awareness of the availability of these services.

A concierge will greet customers upon arrival and direct them to parts of the service centre based on their enquiry, including ‘fast lane’ service areas and convenient self-serve kiosks.

Team members will be available to guide customers through transactions at the digital kiosk, showing them how to complete their request online in future should they wish.

A one-minute walk from Sunshine train station, the hub@sunshine is open weekdays between 8.30am and 5:00pm.

“We know a lot of our customers are technologically savvy, but others prefer a face to face transaction. The hub@sunshine will give people a choice about how they interact with us.”
