Treasurer Backs In Western Chances

27 April 2018

Treasurer Tim Pallas is proud to nominate Western Chances as his 2018/19 Victorian Budget charity.

Western Chances offers scholarships, opportunity programs and ongoing support to help break down the barriers to education faced by some students from across the Western Suburbs.

The scholarships help to fund essential items, such as laptops, text books, specialist tuition fees and calculators, to help keep the students on a path to their chosen careers.

He challenged his parliamentary colleagues and Victoria’s business community to follow his lead and make a personal donation to the organisation.

The Treasurer has nominated a charity for every budget delivered by the Andrews Labor Government.
