Mr Ron Walker will be farewelled with a State Funeral Service at 2.00pm on Wednesday, 7 February 2018 at St Paul’s Cathedral, Melbourne.
A proud Victorian, Ron served as the Lord Mayor of Melbourne and helped put Victoria back on the map as Chairman of the Victorian Major Events Corporation.
Ron is survived by his wife Barbara, children Joanna, Campbell and Candice and grandchildren Harry, Stella and Audrey.
Federation Square will also be made available for members of the public to view a live stream of the Service and join others celebrating his life and contribution.
