Real Madrid World Of Football To Kick Off In Melbourne

20 March 2018

Victorians will be the first to see a new exhibition celebrating one of the world’s greatest football clubs, Real Madrid, when it makes its world debut in Melbourne in June.

Brazilian football legend Ronaldo Nazário has arrived in Melbourne to promote the new exhibition, which will be located at the Melbourne Museum Plaza.

Real Madrid are a titan of world football, and are no stranger to Melbourne – thrilling thousands of loyal fans at the MCG in 2015.

Following its debut in Victoria, the Real Madrid World of Football Experience will embark on a five-year tour visiting a further 14 cities.

The exhibition will be housed in a 1,500 square-metre travelling pavilion inspired by Real Madrid’s famous home ground, the Santiago Bernabéu.

Fans will immerse themselves in 360 degrees cinematic match day experience and test out their skills against the world’s most famous players in the interactive ‘Come Play’ zone.

It will be the first time Real Madrid has taken their stunning collection of silverware and memorabilia outside Madrid – giving fans a once in a lifetime opportunity to see the team’s 12 European Club trophies, 33 Spanish Club Championships, the FIFA Club of the Century trophy, the Ballon d’Or and Golden Boot.

Real Madrid World of Football Experience will be open from 10 June at the Melbourne Museum Plaza. For more information visit RealMadridWOF.com.
