Mooroopna families will have access to a range of early learning, family and health services at a single convenient location, thanks to the Andrews Labor Government.
Minister for Education James Merlino today visited Mooroopna Primary School to announce a new integrated early learning centre will be built at the school.
Co-locating the early learning centre at the school will make drop-off and pick-up times easier for parents of young children, while providing greater support for children in their transition to school.
The centre will deliver education, care, health and support services to children and their families.
The facility is funded through $20.5 million allocated to the Shepparton Education Plan, which will also deliver the new Shepparton High School as part of a long-term plan to transform education in the region.
This boost to regional school funding will upgrade classrooms and school facilities across Victoria, helping teachers and giving more students the support they need to get the first-rate education they deserve.
The Labor Government has invested more than $3.8 billion to improve classrooms, upgrade facilities and build new schools across Victoria.
This school building boom has delivered more than 1,300 school upgrades and 70 new school projects across the state, supporting more than 5,000 construction jobs for Victorians.
