Matthew Guy In Hiding As More Murky Deals Revealed

15 August 2017

Liberal Leader Matthew Guy must today come out of hiding and explain himself, following more revelations of murky deals for Liberal Party donors.

Mr Guy was recently caught at a secret dinner eating lobster and drinking Grange with an alleged organised crime figure, who police have banned from the casino and Victorian racetracks.

It’s now been revealed that when he was Planning Minister, Mr Guy used his powers to approve a skyscraper in Chapel Street, which led to a Liberal Party donor gaining a $36 million profit.

Matthew Guy needs to come clean.

It’s not the first time Matthew Guy has acted to line the pockets of Liberal Party donors.

His overnight rezoning of Fishermans Bend delivered windfall profits to developers and Liberal Party donors – something an independent panel has called “unprecedented in the developed world”.

Quotes attributable to Deputy Premier James Merlino

“Everything about Matthew Guy gets murkier and murkier by the day.”

“If he’s not having lobster dinners with alleged organised crime figures, he’s doing deals to line the pockets of Liberal Party donors.”

“It's clear Matthew Guy has neither the judgement or the character to be Victorian Premier.”
