2008-09 entries are now open!

Spirit of ANZAC Award Winners Each year, the Victorian Government stages the Victorian Spirit of ANZAC Prize Schools Competition. Year Nine students are invited to submit entries, including essays, poems, multimedia, artwork, web pages, digital, audio and video presentations and musical compositions, which explore what the Spirit of ANZAC means to young people today.

Each year ten recipients of the Premier's Spirit of ANZAC Prize are selected to participate in an overseas study tour to sites of significant campaigns involving Australian troops.

In 2009 the tour will focus on Gallipoli and Turkey, and like all study tours since  2005 will be a life-changing experience for the students. They will experience a full program on the Gallipoli battlefield, as well as the rich culture and history of Turkey.

The 2008-09 competition is now open, and entries close on 10 October 2008.
