Nominate A Victorian Young Achiever

30 August 2016

Minister for Youth Affairs and Patron of the Victorian Young Achiever Awards Jenny Mikakos has today called for nominations for the 2016 Victorian Young Achiever Awards.

Young achievers are the future leaders and change-makers of our State and deserve recognition for their tremendous efforts and achievements.

The Victorian Young Achiever Awards acknowledge, encourage and promote the positive achievements of young Victorians up to 29 years of age.

In 2016 the Awards will recognise the achievements of young people across 11 categories ranging from Arts and Fashion to Community Service and Leadership.

One of the category winners will be declared the 2016 Victorian Young Achiever of the Year.

The Andrews Labor Government is a proud supporter of the Victorian Young Achiever Awards - young Victorians deserve recognition for the role they play in shaping the future of our state.

In 2016, the Labor Government is sponsoring the Group Achievement in the Community and the Small Business Achievement Awards.

Nominations open today and close on 11 December, with the winners announced at a Gala Presentation Dinner in May 2016.
