Minister for Police and Emergency Services and Corrections Bob was first elected to the seat of Bendigo West in the 1996 State Election and held the seat at the 1999, 2002 and 2006 elections. Bob was appointed as Minister for Local Government and Minister for WorkCover and the TAC from October 1999 to November 2002 and Minister for Agriculture from December 2002 to November 2006. Following the 2006 State Election Bob was appointed Minister for Police & Emergency Services and Minister for Corrections. Born in Robinvale and completing his secondary education at Bendigo Senior High School, Bob gained a law degree at the University of Melbourne in 1984. Bob was a local Bendigo lawyer for a decade before entering Parliament. He is married with one daughter and two sons. | ||
