Deputy Premier and Racing Minister Rob Hulls has called for the
industry to get behind Racing Victoria Limited’s (RVL) vision for the
future of thoroughbred racing.
The Brumby Government today announced an $86 million infrastructure
package and a 60 per cent drop in wagering taxes post 2012 to secure
the long-term future of Victoria’s racing industry.
Deputy Premier and Minister for Racing Rob Hulls today launched
Greyhound Racing Victoria’s Great Chase Series and urged community
groups across Victoria to take a punt and get involved.
Victoria and New South Wales will soon lift advertising restrictions
that apply to interstate bookmakers and wagering service providers
under proposed legislative changes for both states.
