A National Trust initiative to propagate up to 2,000 juvenile Gallipoli Oaks to be planted in Victorian primary school grounds during the ANZAC Centenary received $10,000 in funding today from the Victorian Coalition Government.

Communities and RSL clubs throughout Victoria will share in grants of more than $170,000 from the Victorian Government’s Restoring Community War Memorial Grants Program announced today by the Minister for Veterans’ Affairs, Hugh Delahunty.

Victorian communities can now pay tribute to their local Anzacs thanks to today’s announcement of a $100,000 funding allocation from the Victorian Coalition Government for a state-wide program to name roads, suburbs or other geographic features in honour of local veterans.
