Minister for the Arts Heidi Victoria has today announced the three shortlisted works that will vie for the $15,000 Victorian Premier’s Literary Award for an Unpublished Manuscript. 

Melbourne’s winter arts calendar is already in full swing with the opening of the city’s second Australian-exclusive Melbourne Winter Masterpieces exhibition for 2013 – Monet’s Garden: The Musée Marmottan Monet, Paris – at the National Gallery of Victoria. 
 
The Victorian Coalition Government funding programs for arts organisations and individual artists will be streamlined, more strategically focused and boosted, with major changes announced today by Minister for the Arts Heidi Victoria.
 
The Victorian Coalition Government will invest $3 million over the next two years into Victoria’s oldest cultural institution, the State Library of Victoria, to assist its bold transformation into the public library of the future, Minister for the Arts Heidi Victoria said.
 
Victoria’s reputation as a leading centre for arts, creativity and culture, will be backed with $28.9 million in new funding delivered in the 2013-14 Victorian State Budget, Minister for the Arts Heidi Victoria said.
