Minister Hall inspires Moe South Street student leaders
Senior students from Moe South Street Primary School learned about being a politician first hand today with a visit from the Minister responsible for the Teaching Profession Peter Hall.
At an all-school assembly, Mr Hall presented student representative council members with their badges, commending them for taking leadership roles in their school community.
Eleven students from years 5 and 6, who have been selected as environmental leaders at the school, were also presented with Eco-Warrior badges.
"Moe South Street Primary has a strong focus on environmental sustainability and the students have been tasked with finding ways to improve their school's environmental credentials," Mr Hall said.
"I'm always pleased to see young students with the energy to lead and make a difference.
"Sometimes, just as in politics, this means introducing important changes because it's the right thing to do," Mr Hall said.
Mr Hall shared his experience of the State Parliament and explained his Ministerial role to the students.
