Labor Government To Build Berwick Fields Primary’s Eco-Cubby

28 April 2015

The Andrews Labor Government will help fund a new eco cubby at Berwick Fields Primary School.

Minister for Education, James Merlino, visited the school today to reaffirm the Labor Government’s $100,000 election pledge.

The innovative flexible learning and play space was designed by the school’s students, with the help of professional architects.

It will form a centrepiece of the Berwick Fields Primary’s sustainability and environmental education programs.

Plans for the Eco Cubby are almost complete and the school is seeking community partners and supporters – including tradespeople and building product providers – to help make it a reality.

The Labor Government is making Victoria the Education State, by investing in education and rebuilding our schools we will ensure our kids get the best start in life.
