Jobs, Jobs, Jobs: Culture Amp HQ Up And Running

13 July 2017

Culture Amp, one of Victoria’s most successful home-grown startups, will create 200 new local technology jobs with the opening of its global headquarters and Asia Pacific engineering hub in Melbourne.

Premier Daniel Andrews today officially opened the new headquarters and congratulated the company on its success and commitment to Melbourne as it takes its employee feedback and analytics platform to the world.

Founded in Melbourne in 2009, Culture Amp has grown to become one of Victoria’s most successful startups and now boasts some of the world’s most recognised companies as its customers including Airbnb, Estée Lauder, Adobe, Pixar, Slack and Nike.

Mr Andrews secured the agreement with Culture Amp to bring its global headquarters to Melbourne as part of a visit to the United States last year.

The Andrews Labor Government has strongly supported the state’s digital technology sector and understands it plays a crucial role in the Victorian economy.

The ICT industry generates annual revenues of around $35 billion, while Victoria’s 160,000 digital technology professionals are driving growth in all industries across our economy.

The Labor Government is attracting major tech investors to Victoria and building its global reputation as a tech hub with major companies including Hired, Zendesk, Square and Slack setting up regional headquarters here.

Victoria is also investing in startups through the Labor Government’s $60 million startup initiative LaunchVic.
