Some of the projects where the Brumby Government is taking action on roads and public transport include:

1.$2.5 billion EastLink project, which will provide a 40 kilometre link connecting Melbourne’s eastern and south-eastern suburbs.
2.Abolished Zone 3.
3.Refurbish Narre Warren and Highett Railway Stations, providing new car-parking facilities at Huntingdale, Frankston and Narre Warren Railway Stations.
4.Duplicate Thompson Rd between the Mornington Peninsula Freeway and Frankston-Dandenong Rd.
5.Delivery of M1 (Monash Freeway) upgrade.
6.Additional park and ride spaces including at Cranbourne.
