1.In the Melbourne Region the unemployment rate has fallen from 6.4% in October 1999 to 4.2% in December 2007.
2.Used local companies like Bombardier Transportation at Dandenong to build the Regional Fast Rail project. The project created more than 6,000 jobs for hundereds of construction and supply firms.
3.Deliver Budget operating surplus of at least $100 million each year.
4.Ensuring Victoria's triple A credit rating.
5.Across Victoria creating an additional 4,500 pre-apprenticeship places.
6.Worked with Gandel to provide a $200 million expansion of Chadstone Shopping Centre creating 2,500 jobs during construction, and 1,100 ongoing full and part-time jobs.
