The Loddon region is located north west of Melbourne and extends from Mildura on the Victorian / New South Wales border, through regional centres such as Swan Hill, Kerang, Boort, Bendigo and Kyneton to the south.
Some of the projects the Brumby Government is taking action on to make sure the streets are safe include:

1.Recently provided funding for the replacement of Swan Hill Police Station.
2.Recently provided funding to replace and upgrade 18 CFA Stations including Mildura CFA.
3.Replacement of Police Station at Kyneton and the new Bendigo Police Station.
4.Recently providing funding to replace and upgrade seven SES facilities including Swan Hill SES.
5.Introduced new hoon and graffiti legislation.
6.Replacement Police Station at Ouyen.
