The Brumby Government is taking action now to meet the challenges of the future and make Victoria the best place to live, work and raise a family. Since 1999 the Government has been standing up for working families, investing in communities, and creating jobs across the State. We want the best schools, and hospitals, and the safest streets in Australia. We have invested strongly in education, health, and community safety, and helped create over 450,000 jobs. Victoria also faces new challenges in areas like housing, transport, and climate change to meet the demands of a growing population. Challenges that demand action.
