In a new era for Victorian number plates, Premier Ted Baillieu announced in October that the state's plates would carry a road safety slogan, and called for Victorians to contribute their ideas.

Victorians of all ages and from all over the state have had a say on what concerns them most on our roads, and what they thought the best slogan to get the road safety message across on our number plates.

Thousands of suggestions have been lodged on this website and these suggestions will now go to a panel of Victoria's road safety leaders who will make final recommendations to government.

The consultation closed at 5pm on 9 November and the Victorian Coalition Government thanks all Victorians who participated by submitting their ideas.

The new number plates are expected to roll out in Victoria next year.
