Support for reforms that are improving the lives of Victoria’s vulnerable children will continue across the Victorian Coalition Government with the 2013-14 Victorian State Budget, Minister for Community Services, Mary Wooldridge said today.
 
Concessions for vulnerable Victorians will increase in the 2013-14 Victorian State Budget with Minister for Community Services Mary Wooldridge today announcing a $1.6 billion package to help families with the cost of utilities, health services, education and transport. 
 

More frontline workers, greater help for families, improved intervention and diversion programs, expansion of places in therapeutic out-of-home care and innovative reform of the Children's Court are just some of the 2012-13 Budget measures to better protect Victoria's most vulnerable children.

Additional funding for people with a disability in the 2012-13 Victorian Budget will ensure Victoria is well-placed for the introduction of a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Community Services Minister Mary Wooldridge said today.
